The EX2200 line of Ethernet switches delivers an economical standalone solution designed to meet the needs of todays businesses.

The EX2200-C is a highly compact, silent and power-efficient platform for low-density micro branch deployments and commercial access or enterprise workgroup environments outside the wiring closet. Featuring 12 10/100/1000BASE-T access ports in a fanless design, the EX2200-C switches deliver a powerful solution designed specifically for office, classroom, hospitality, and other space- and wiring-constrained environments. Two front panel dual-purpose (10/100/1000BASE-T or 100/1000BASE-X) uplinks provide operational flexibility.

EX2200-C models are available with or without standards-based 802.3af Class 3 Power over Ethernet (PoE) for supporting networked devices such as telephones, video cameras, and wireless LAN (WLAN) access points. The switches also support the 802.3at PoE+ standard, offering additional power for devices such as multiple radio IEEE 802.11n wireless access points.

The EX2200-C also run the same Junos operating system that powers other Juniper switches, routers and security devices, providing a consistent set of features and capabilities across the Juniper network infrastructure.
