Every stage of the VeryPC GreenPC build employs EPM, from cherry picking the best energy efficient components, through dynamically tweaking the processor power usage, right up to testing and optimising the power supply. Now there is also a final, software based EPM stage: PecoBOO uses your webcam to detect when you are looking at your computer, and turns your display off or on accordingly. EPM ensures that your GreenPC saves energy whilst never compromising on performance.
