VeryPC is totally dedicated to the design and manufacture of market leading energy efficient desktop computers and servers. The company was founded in 2004 on the back of personal experiences gained by the principal Director, Mr Peter Hopton in seeing first-hand the amount of energy wasted by inefficient computer hardware. As an electronics student at Sheffield University, Peter recognized the need for an entrepreneurial approach to the design and build of an innovative green solution. Based out of Sheffield, the company has a distinct family feel to it drawing its workforce from likeminded highly motivated individuals who have also recognized the need for change. During the short time that the company has been in existence, it’s commitment to the green standard has been recognized by multiple nominations and awards such as; PC Pro -Environmental Innovator and UK CEED – Special Award for Outstanding Contribution to Sustainable IT June 2009. The company continues to maintain its leading position by developing an ever more energy efficient range with the watch words being; economy, ecology and performance.
